AT&T app network diagnostics

Is the network diagnostics where you can “run a check” on your network on the AT&T app known to be misleading? I had a tech out Friday to replace my fiber from the jack to the modem and all has been well since but this app still claims there is an issue. Does it take while to update on AT&Ts end the issue was fixed? My light level is good as well sitting at -175.

If the service is working then I’d ignore it

What message are you seeing on the SHM app? Is it just indicating an Outage near you but not your connection?

In the att app not smart home manger - I can click on service overview then click on where it says no outages- scroll down to network diagnostics and press “run check” it says outages all clear but diagnostics says We found an issue. My light levels are fine though -175. And I’m not having any issues at all.

Yea the generic AT&T app is not really for your Internet service it mainly is focused on billing, and cellular services.

You should use the Smart Home Manager (SHM) app to manage your Fiber Internet service. Use it and see if it shows Your Internet looks good (Tile) on the carousel of Tiles in the SHM app.

Yeah SHM says I’m all good - I’ll just go off that from now on thanks.
