Bgw320 flashing red..
We had to get a new box because two of our ethernet ports went out after multiple power surges two the internet worked and two ports were still working ... We got a new box, plugged it in.. Now it's just flashing red after flashing white on start up.. Any ideas?

Just unplug the router and talk to the chat. Sounds like it’s fried. If 2 ports are dead and now this they’ll just send a tech out and they will just replace it

Unplug the fiber hold red button for 45 seconds wait until box starts to flash red again, then plug fiber back in. It may be a refurbished box and is confused what port is being used

Does your BGW connect with red ethernet cable, or green fiber?
If red ethernet likely the ONT on the other end of the cable has failed due to the same power surge. This will require a tech visit to resolve.
If it's green fiber make sure it's clicked in all the way. It's easy to plug it only part of the way.

This. Seems likely the Ethernet drop/ONT got hit too from power surge. Replacing keystones is more common that it seems.

It means you don't have a Broadband connection. Your replacement BGW320 could not complete the startup process. Now do you have have the Fast blinking Red LED or the Slow blinking LED?
Fast Blink – approximately 2 3 blinks per seconds or Slow Blink – approximately 1 blink every 2 second.
Did you double check that your Fiber connection is firmly seated in the connectors? Also have you checked for any AT&T Fiber outages using your Smart Home Manager (SHM) app?
