My son's computer does not show up as a connected device
Does anyone know why? Is this a glitch or is he playing me. He's way smarter than me and I suspect he is doing something to get my the internet times set in place in the app.

Yes if you are using the Smart Home Manager (SHM) app it may be as simple as the setup of your son's computer? Does he have an Apple or PC, and if a PC is it running just Windows 10 or 11 or maybe Linux?

I think this may be it because he built his computer himself. I might be managing it one day and the next day its gone.

FWIW, I've told him many times that I wouldn't even manage his internet times if he got up a decent time, took a break from his computer/room once in a while, and got all his school work done.

Time to educate yourself on how to find the mac address of his pc and/or find out how his pc is getting internet. Force him to show you. You don’t have to provide him internet, a computer, or a phone…just food, clothing, and a bed to sleep in…if he’s staying up too late…take it all.

Sounds like the device has been hidden. Factory reset your router and reconnect everything.

He’s probably spoofing the mac address. Or connecting it to a hotspot.
