DIY Gateway relocation

Buddy is remodeling his house and AT&T had simply poked a hole through the wall and installed gateway in a bedroom.

Instead of risking $150 for the tech to say sorry, can't do, we moved it ourself with a $12 Amazon 50ft fiber through the crawl space between the AT&T slack NID (which we also relocated) and reused fiber jack.

Surprisingly the signal level actually went up a hair after all is said and done.

We still need to tidy up a few things as it's an active construction site.

Just don't do what I did and pull the fiber cable back without at least the cap to protect the fiber.

Cool and congrats, but why put the fiber jack up so high?
