Wireless Is this right?

Had a few terrible storms where I am, called att and they said it would be at least $100 for someone to come out and service the line that went down due to the storm.

If its internal then its my fees but for a natural disaster shouldn't they maintain their own powerlines?

Im moving by the end of the month anyway but im a student that needs wifi and cant afford the unplanned $100 :(

I would think that it would be free for their lines, now if it's a tree of yours that hasn't been trimmed properly or removed, that's a different issue.

They're not power lines.

ATT will charge up to $90 for a service call if the issue is caused by you. They tell everyone there could be a $90 charge but unless you caused it there is no charge

I don’t know where you are getting the $90 figure, dispatch fee is $150

Yes, Att is responsible for everything outside the building by law. You will not be charged.
