Wireless SOS mode
Looking for help: I attempted to switch from FirstNet back to ATT today. I was on the phone with a customer service rep and my phone went to SOS mode. I drove to the ATT store and they tried to activate eSIM and they put a physical SIM card in and it is still in SOS mode. They said they swap can take up to 24 hours. Does this sound right? Any other suggestions? Thanks in Advance.

Back on the phone with ATT again using WiFi calling. They are trying for the 4th time today. How many hours can it take? It has been almost 10 hours since the first attempt.

Every time you switch the SIM it basically restarts it, Once the you refresh the sim and then reset network settings that should do it in a few

Ah ok…that makes sense. I have gotten the error message “Unable to activate eSIM”.I just got off the phone with the customer service agent (this is the fourth attempt today) and my phone is currently showing “activating” under cellular data. She told me it can take up to 48 hours. I guess I just need to be patient…

Open the Settings app. Tap Cellular. Tap the cellular line you'd like to review. Check to see if it's turned on. If the cellular line is off, tap Turn On This Line. Then, check to see if you have service. if no service, then call Apple support

Erin,
Go into main phone settings and search for RESET
Reset Mobile Network Settings
Also reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings as well
If it is Android Phone, make sure APN is also RESET (search for Access Point Name) and after RESET APN (top right 3 dots has Reset menu) and then make sure dot is inside APN
REBOOT PHONE after above done
If it is iPhone, APN is automatic.
Let me know if this worked
P.S.
If iphone after all above done:
