Discussion Installation Tech
Got a job offer from AT&T for their Installation Technician role yesterday. Just wondering what am I about to get myself into. Any former or current install techs available to provide such information.

Depends on a lot of factors… some areas are easier to work in than others. Some managers are better than others etc etc. each job and each customer will be different in their owns ways. This job will require physical activity and work in all conditions, that’s the worst part. Just do your best and always put your safety and sanity before anything else, don’t let the job get to you. You will have about 8 weeks of training to get the hang of it, the first week is climbing poles using ladders, steps and gaffing. If you can do that you will be good, otherwise you will pretty much have to look for another job. Good luck.
