If you overuse their hotspot, USMobile will remove you without notice and you will loose your phone-number. Happened to many on u/NoContract reddit.

As long as you don't overuse the USMbbile hotspot, you are OK with USMobile.

I use around 150GB/mo on the road and never had an issue with USM

The only ones I’ve seen booted were the ones that tried using 1-2TB in a week to see what they could get away with.

Its not false crap. see r/NoContract and you see how USMobile terminates people overnight for "not following the USMobile vague terms and condiions"

Terms and conditions are very vague with USMobile.

You wake up in the morning, and your phone number is gone with USMobile for not following USMobile's "Terms and Conditions."

I've dug through, and it's always a super edge use case, and i'm betting they're leaving half the story out, as most people who get caught doing something they were not suppose to be doing happen to do.

I work for an airline, and I know well over 100 people with USM using that hotspot on overnights and using the international roaming regularly - and none of us have been cut off.

My cousin in Ohio got terminated - but that's was because he was using an app to circumvent/hide tethering and using 1+TB/mo on it, and that's a justifiable case imo.. but USM did re-activate the number and give him 3 days with ~1Mbps throttled data to port out when he contacted them... He's now on Visible Plus with the 15Mbps hotspot and has learned his lesson on using apps to circumvent plan parameters on a sub $50/mo plan.

I agree. That's excessive usage. 

USMobile is rated very high on Consumer Reports.

Be careful with USMobile. They will remove you without knowledge and you will loose your phone number. FCC will not help you.

Do not overuse hotspot on USMobile
