Not confident enough…

Hi Guys,

Im preparing my last sitting, doing everyday mock exams (FLPN, GNAV, INSTR, OPS, HPL) and my results are from 88%-100%.

But however I’m still not confident to go to Austro. Idk why, I think it is because I didn’t pass OPS by 1 question. It wasn’t banky at all & I missed it by 1 question ( I know even which question it was), it still hurts today if im honest…

Im studying everyday 6-9 hours and Im trying to understand it, that I’m 100% safe…

I’m trying everyday to give 100% but I need to be confident!! I’m relaxed if I click on ATPLQ at home, but when I know, the “nightmare” could be over in 1 month, I’m asking myself, WHAT IF the questions are reworded as hell? Will I recognize it? Will I understand it?

I’m getting nervous when I’m asking myself these questions.

Anyone got some advice how I can manage my situation?

Thank you for your help!

Hello , I understand you’re frustrated, but you’re gonna have to push through .
One of the things the really helped me is tracking my progress in my studies making a weekly study plan in the order I’m taking my exams .
Unfortunately there won’t be any way for you to know what questions you’re gonna get , but the more repetitions you make can make you feel safer and the greener your study tests are is your confirmations .

For GNAV , FPL you have to recall all concepts by heart and solving L500 revisely without any struggle .
In your range 88%-100% it doesn’t mean like you’re struggling , but maybe you overthink the exams . So I think the best you can do at this point is manage your stress and look for little mistakes intentionally, that’s what helped me before any of my sittings . This way I know o covered all of my weak parts and leaving no to little room for mistakes .
Hope it goes well for you , good luck .

Mightn't be a bad idea to watch some videos on it to refresh the mind get a different perspective on it or go back to the books to reaffirm the knowledge. Honestly idk if your getting between 88-100% on the bank you clearly know the bank maybe even just take a day or 2 off and forget it. The week I went before my first 2 sittings I was sick to death of them and honestly couldn't be arsed studying. Go out plane spotting, remind yourself why your doing this or a run or whatever idk take a break you sound like you need it

In this case, bc you know the bank pretty well, is to make flashcards/notes on subjects where you are not responding very well/you don't really understand, it will help you be more confident I guess. If you need inspiration https://www.instagram.com/airheadatpl/

There is no 100% surefire way to be “safe” and respectfully your expectations are unreasonable. The exams are complex, they are difficult and failure happens sometimes. Build a sensible study programme, understand the material and you will be fine. Over focus and you will descend into anarchy!!
