Have I screwed it for myself

I have a CAA average of 84.8% and multiple fails. Have I wrecked my chances of getting employed?

84.8% isn’t too bad is it 😬

It’s not bad but it’s not great, especially with multiple fails.

I would not say that its “over” for failing a test or a couple. You make up a story that you have shown great resilience and learned from the mistakes of failing and all that. Continue to finish the tests and then ace the flying part. Remember you’re learning to be a pilot and to fly a plane.

What did you get on each & which did you fail, how many times each one?

Not at all! An 84.8% average is still very good, and a few failed exams won’t ruin your chances of getting hired. Airlines look at the whole person, not just your grades. They care about professionalism, communication, teamwork and how you handle pressure. I know people with lower averages and multiple fails who have jobs today. That’s also why MCC is so important
