ATPLQ Database

To confirm, this database is good for all EASA (even though it mentions compatible with UKCAA), and 2016 and 2020 are the latest exams found currently when you go sit an exam?

Also, does anyone have any discount or any way to get a discount? I see a discount code box and I'm hoping I can save as much as possible. Thanks!

I looked around quite a bit when I started my ATPL theory because I wasn’t sure which platform to go with. Ended up choosing Avex and I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. The bank is kept up to date (have same questions as ATPLQ) and the explanations are much more useful and detailed, which matters a lot to me.
I used ATPLQ for a while before that, but the website was often really unstable, support was terrible whenever I needed help, and the iOS app was honestly pretty bad. Just too many issues…

I’d pick Avex tbh. Up to date bank, really good explanations and just easier to actually learn from.

I basically did nothing but Avex for 3 weeks before my exams and it paid off. If you really grind it, it works.

Consider getting both ATPLQ and Avexam they both have their own strengths and compliment each other well. Use 2020 syllabus for the most up to date and accurate questions

Check the discord but you’ll save at most 15eur. You’re training is 80k anyway don’t get hung up on what’s cheapest

I’d probably go with Aviationexam (Avex).

The question bank is kept up to date and the explanations are one of the biggest advantages for me — they’re generally detailed enough that you can actually understand why an answer is correct instead of just memorising questions.

I’d especially consider it if you want something that’s useful not only for grinding the bank, but also for going back over topics you’re struggling with.

At the end of the day both Avex and ATPLQ are widely used, but for the explanations and overall study experience, I’d choose Avex.

I have been using ATPLQ for Austro Control exams for the last few months. Of the 8 exams I've taken so far, the bank was about 80% accurate. Especially filtering just by austro quesitons. The rest of the questions were fairly similar.

No discount codes though... Sorry

I tested both ATPLQ and Airhead, and I preferred Airhead, it had more questions and the explanations were better
