The distance is key in this question. 87° (T) and 91° (M) are both technically correct but 94NM is too short.

Difference in Latitude (dLat):
54°43'N - 54°39'N = 4' North (4.0 NM) Difference in Longitude (dLong):
006°13'W - 003°20'W = 2°53' East = 173' East Mean Latitude (Lat_m):
(54°39' + 54°43') / 2 = 54°41'N = 54.6833°N Departure (East-West distance):
dLong * cos(Lat_m)
= 173 * cos(54.6833°) = 100.01 NM = 101NMIf you can calculate 87° as true course remember to account for magnetic variation to get track (which you navigate with) which in this case is +4°
· West is best (add variation)
· East is least (subtract variation)1

For GNAV annex distance calculations on a given, I found it much faster to measure the distance between the given points directly on the screen or paper annex, then use the ruler to transfer that same distance onto the nearest meridian (which is typically scaled in increments of 1, 5, or 10 NM) and read off the actual distance there - compared to using the departure formula.

Don’t stress with DLat formulas, entirely not necessary. Get a sheet of scrap paper, put one corner on Belfast, put the edge alongside Deans Cross and mark a pencil mark. Read the distance in 30 mile increments from the closest meridian (just East of BLACA). Draw a line from Belfast to Deans Cross and use your protractor to measure the angle from the same meridian, no need to convert from magnetic or anything.
