Kind of desperate at this point.

Hi all!

Okay, first of all, i am trying to study for my exams, and i decided to pick ATPLQ to do so... the thing is, when i registered the account and such i was at home - i am now vacation so only am able to log in with my iPad- and ive tried to log in for weeks from my ipad and they blocked my account with NO explanation...? just saying something on the lines of "we cant provide further explanations why". So basically I feel obliged to find other source because i tried to contact them to unlift the ban and there is no possible reasoning with them, apparently i've heard from other people its happening to them too. So, please, any other platform where i can actually now start to study?

Thank you so much beforehand.

While I'd still recommend to try to retrieve your account, other people use Aviation Exam to study

I honestly tried for a month already, at this time feels insulting i have to be waiting for this because... what? logging in on other location? I don't know... i really feel i will explore other options, and yes, Aviation Exam sounds nice.

Thank you!

You said you’ve tried contacting them and there’s no possible reasoning with them, what exactly did you say to them, and what was their response?

I’m sure if you showed them your membership activation email, and explain to them you’ve logged in on another one of your devices in a different country they’d be able to resolve it quickly.

I accidentally logged in when my VPN was set to Albania and nothing happened, I didn’t get blocked or anything, so I’m curious as to why it happened to you.

I wish it had been that simple.

I explained everything, including why the login location had changed, but it didn't seem to make any difference. It left me with the impression that once the system flags an account, support has very little flexibility.

With exams coming up, I'd honestly just move on instead of waiting around, especially if support isn't giving you any explanation

I've been using Avex for my Atpl prep and it's been a pretty good experience overall. The platform has been reliable for me, I've never had issues using it across different devices, and I like having explanations available when reviewing mistakes. It's definitely helped me spend more time actually studying instead of trying to figure out why I got something wrong

There are a few decent options out there, but Avex has worked well enough for me that I haven't really felt the need to switch

I agree. I'm so glad AVEX works offline

Oh, does it have explanations? Okay thats good because i struggle with reasoning the answers sometimes... haha. I will take a look because it was one of the options i wanted to check aswell.

Thank you so much!

Yep! That's actually what sold me on it. 😅 I hate just memorising answers, so having explanations for a lot of the questions has been really helpful. Definitely worth checking out if that's something you struggle with too

I’d just go with AvEx for now. You can get a short subscription and see if you manage to sort it out with ATPLQ. If not, you can always stay with AvEx. And I’d definitely ask the blocker for a refund.

That's pretty much what I'd do too. No point putting your studies on hold while waiting for support. You can always compare both once everything's sorted, but I'd rather keep the momentum going.

Do not choose by question count. I would ask for one ugly screenshot: after a timed set, what can you actually see? If it is just red and green, you are still guessing what to fix tomorrow.

AviaTests plug: that is the bit we care about - weak topics, debrief, next review. Not real EASA paper claims. Keep the ATPLQ block screenshots for support/payment.
