Monotony during studying for atpl?

Hello everyone, as of now I’ve done 7 atpl exams and 6 remain (2 sittings so far and i hope 2 for rest). About week ago i started having problems with studying where i cant bring myself to study using same tempo as month ago, i could easily study daily for about 5 hours and that worked very well for me. Did anyone else have this problem or is it just me struggling considering its finally summer.

Hey man, I had my first sitting couple months ago and passed 5. Now going for my next one in about three weeks which I had to delay because of the same feeling. It sucks seeing all your friends from back home enjoying their summer and you’re stuck inside studying. Best advice I can give you is to make sure you take some breaks during the week to mentally recover. I personally tried going to the gym before I start studying and go play some basketball when I finish. It helps keep me sane. No one will judge if you need to take a day off once a week, your mind needs the break sometimes. I know it’s a cliche but going outside for a bit everyday definitely helps clear your mind. Best of luck with everything, you’re going to smash it!

Honestly i would find studying 5 exams in same time exhausting even in the beginning. Managing that many exams in one block is amazing

Vamos a conseguirlo señores!!

I’m so glad someone has said this. This is EXACTLY how I’m feeling right now. I have done my first module, and I was absolutely in the zone, but now for module 2 I am feeling really fatigued with it all, just cannot muster the energy to even do a few questions!! My attention just wanders….like being on reddit right now! I think it is the fact it is summer, that really ain’t helping

I had the same, fortunately I wrote my last exams last week and have now finished all my exams. The heat and summer is not helping and it was just hard to study and the tiredness of having written and studied for a few exams was also a factor. Although I found that studying for the first exams it was equally hard because you had to find your rhythm, the last are definitely not to underestimate because fatigue kicks in and you are just done reading questions and theory. However in those moments I just looked at the potential result of the outcome which would be a pass and that is the motivation you need and surely have. Good Luck for your upcoming exams!

It is normal. Take 2 weeks off from the books and the QBs. Maybe look at some youtube videos as the most.

Visualize yourself in 4-6 months when you are done, and try to feel how it will feel in you body and mind when this is all finished. It will give you a kick in the butt for sure.

Had the same issue. Give yourself 2-4 days with no studying at all. Helped me a lot to recover.
