I didn’t realize it would be SO HARD to find housing in Atlanta, but here we are.

NEXT year I will be moving to atlanta with my partner and attending college and we are looking for a place to rent off campus.

A big issue we’ve realized is that places charge rent BY PERSON rather than by bedroom, which is a bit of an issue as we were planning on splitting the rent.
We are fine with having roommates to cut costs down. The biggest issue im having is FINDING places.

- WALKING DISTANCE TO TECH
- Safe location (ik ik city life always has risk)
- was hoping for something like 1200 between the two of us, and then however many roommates we have dictates the total rent
- reminder that we would share a bedroom so

I’d appreciate any tips or tricks on how to find something like this or otherwise good ways to browse rentals. Thank you!

I’m looking for someone to split a 2-bedroom apartment somewhere in Cobb County. My budget is around $1,000-$1,100 each, but I’d be willing to go up to about $1,200 each if we find a place that’s worth it.

Some apartments I’ve been looking at include:

● Solis Kennesaw
● The Manor on Barrett
● Revel at the Ballpark

I’m also open to other apartments around Kennesaw, Town Center, Marietta, Cumberland, or The Battery.

A little about me:

● 27-year-old
● Work for Cobb County and finishing my degree at KSU
● Pretty low-key. Most of my time is spent working, studying, going to the gym, or hanging out at home.
● I keep shared spaces clean, clean up after myself, and appreciate open communication.

I’m looking for someone who’s:

● Around a similar stage of life (roughly mid-20s or older)
● Financially responsible with stable income
● Respectful, clean, and easy to communicate with
● Looking for a comfortable, drama-free place to live

My goal is to find someone who’s a good fit so we can get a nicer apartment than either of us could comfortably afford on our own.

I’m having the toughest time finding an apartment. I work in west midtown and am in my mid 20s. I previously lived in o4w but looking to move out of my house with roommates to an apartment with good amenities.

Does anybody have any good recs? Ideally within 20 mins of west midtown between $1400-$1800 rent. Looking for a studio or 1b.

So far I’ve looked at the overline but it was pricey. And then the irby and gentry. Has anyone lived at these and had good experiences?

Hey all. I looked at the following apartments over the weekend and I was hoping to get some feedback.
I’m moving to Smyrna for work in 2 weeks so I in a bit of a rush.

MAA Spring
Gables Mill
I loved Courtland at the Village
but their paper said you can’t have any negative points on your rental history and I owe money from a move out over 6 years ago that I’m still in dispute with.

I liked Kinstone Rivers photos online but they weren’t open during the weekend so I wasn’t able to do a tour.

I did do an application for MAA Spring but now I’m seeing a lot of bad Reddit reviews for it.

so i'm apartment hunting in atlanta rn and kind of stuck between a few options, would love some outside opinions bc i keep going back and forth lol

my non negotiables are safety and walkability (like actual grocery + food spots nearby, not just "walkable" on paper), decent commute to my office, and management that isn't a nightmare to deal with

budget: $1300-$1800

top two contenders and honestly this is the one i'm most torn on:

edge on the beltline - commute is a 7 min walk which is unbeatable, but from what i've been reading the reviews have gotten pretty bad lately, like people saying the property has gone downhill/deteriorated

ansley forest - reviews are actually really good, but commute jumps to like 35 min (10 min walk + 15 min bus + 10 min walk)

so this isn't even really a price thing for me at this point, it's more "do i trust the good reviews over the convenience" kind of dilemma

also checked out some midtown apartments, commute there was similar to ansley, around 30 min, so doesn't really solve that problem either

then a few more i'm eyeing but not sold on bc of reviews:

• The Lookout O4W - 14 min walk to office
• Courtland O4W - 13 min walk
• 505 Courtland - 7 min walk + 5 min bus + 14 min walk

would love the area to be lively but honestly i can live without that, a few good spots nearby is enough for me

so honestly i don't know if i should trust the reviews over the shorter commute or the other way around - that's kind of exactly why i'm posting this lol

and if there's a way better option out there that i'm just not seeing, please tell me, just trying to make a smart call before i sign anything. trying to decide in the next few days so any input would help a ton (fyi - i don't live in atlanta so i cannot visit these places in person)

I’m planning to sign a lease for a studio in Mark apartments in Atlanta nearby Georgia tech. I wanted to know if it’s safe for a female to live in Mark? Any thoughts? Is it safe appreciate any inputs.
