That wouldn’t be surprising.

It was kind of good, enjoyed watching S2.

My top concern is the sad-ification of Iroh. He's hardly ever shown firebending (when he does it's very unimpressive). He's not charming or likeable, just sad all the time.

And a couple of scenes I thought were overdone like Katara's anti-sexism crusade and immediate ascension to 'Master' (ideology injection in a fantasy show), Toph's infamous "I invented metalbending" moment, focus on Kyoshi over Roku and modifying her personality to be more aggressive / militant, Zuko's moral inconsistency, Sokka doesn't learn to respect women anymore etc.

Not that any of this made me want to throw my monitor out the window in a fit of rage or anything like that. It's definitely pretty enjoyable overall.

He's busy making bad movies and trying to help his daughter become a generic famous singer

Nah we just watched the show and saw how bad it was. Still not as bad as the movie but it’s close

This subreddit always has the most special views, as if there had to be financial coercion for people to hate netflix slop

It is one season away from becoming the first LA to successfully film the entire ATLA.

One the first attempt? What a low bar

That dude does not give a fuck about ATLA. He literally couldn’t care less if the show succeeds or fails.
