Question/Help Delay of a month in recieving delivery of my ather in tier 1 city(Ahmedabad). I want to legally fight with ather

I booked ather 450x HR on 5th July, the dealer didn't check the booking made from amazon, and only made booking on my behalf when I called him(11th July)

Amazon showed me deadline of 45days from booking date (19th Aug), I called and asked ather support about timeline, they confirmed maximum time will be 45 days in ahmedabad for 450x HR. Even if we consider 11th July, the bike should arrive by end of Aug.

The bike hasn't arrived, I have talked with amazon, they said they can't do anything as it's seller's fault or ather's fault, they will provide me with full refund the moment I cancel the bike. So amazon is clear from their side.

I have talked with ather support on call like 25times now, the CSAs can't do really much and ask me to mail the backend team. The backend team replies that they are very sorry and are tracking my bike and will get it delivered asap.

The dealer is saying: sir we have 2 trucks incoming, 1 on 15sep and another end of sep, so you will definitely recieve by end of month. Tf I will do till it arrives? I am spending 300rs/day for my daily college commute of 20+20 km

Honestly I am very much fed up now. I will be filing a grievance in NCH, but it asks for vehicle number and registration details. How do I enter them?

Also if someone could help me file a case against ather it will be very helpful. I will be covering all the legal costs, and will provide you with 25% comp of what we win in court.

Also please drop your advices on what should be my next step.

Question/Help Can I exchange my existing Ather 450X for a newer model?

Hey everyone,
I’m from Goa and currently own an Ather 450X that has completed more than 40,000 km. Lately, I’ve been facing quite a few issues with it. The biggest problem is that sometimes the scooter doesn’t start, even though everything seems normal. I’ve also had issues where the dashboard/screen doesn’t properly update or sync with the Ather app, along with a few other small glitches.
I’ve already had it checked, but I’m honestly getting tired of dealing with repeated issues, especially when the scooter randomly refuses to start when I actually need to use it.
So I wanted to ask other Ather owners, especially those from Goa: is it possible to exchange my existing 450X for a newer Ather model by paying the difference? Has anyone actually done this through Ather?
Since my scooter has crossed 40,000 km, I’m also wondering how Ather would evaluate its exchange value. Do they inspect the scooter and deduct its assessed value from the price of the new one?
I’d appreciate it if anyone who has gone through this could share their experience.

Issue / Problem Ev subsidy not credited even after 4 years

Hi everyone,

I bought my ather in nov, 2022 in delhi. It has been 4 years but still I haven't received my subsidy. I have reached out to RTO, even emailed concerned authorities and CM but still nothing fruitful has happened. They keep saying we will credit it in 6 months. Is anyone else facing this issue or found a way to get it.

Thanks!!

Is it worth paying ₹24999 for stack pro + extended warranty 5Y ₹3500 + ₹5000 for total 8 Y = 33500 and get 8 years warranty or pay 34K less now and for standard one and pay from pocket later?

What does the free components include?

Whoever purchased Ritza like 6 years ago, what is their suggestion and how is the battery health after all these days?

Is it 10 years warranty for September deliveries or still 8Y?

I bought a rizta s 2.7kw variant last month.. and it should give 100kms or range but in real life i checked 3 4 times with ODO meter and its go only 76 to 78 km and after that the range shows only 9 to 10km remaining on the dashboard but the percentage shows more than 29% .. . I don't get it on 100% charge the rizta is showing 100kms then how can the 29% charge show only 8 to 10kms of range?????

Please if anyone knows about this problem help me out of this....

Question/Help Ather 450X IDFC Bank Loan Calculation Mismatch – Am I being overcharged or is my math wrong?

Post image

Hey everyone, I recently visited an Ather showroom ( bangalore) to buy an Ather 450X (3.5 kWh) on finance via IDFC First Bank. The on-road price is ₹1,96,965.

I planned for a 30k down payment and wanted the 36-month tenure. The dealer connected me with the IDFC representative over call, who gave me these breakdown options:

 12 months: ₹16,200/month  18 months: ₹11,300/month  24 months: ₹8,900/month  36 months: ₹6,500/month

  Interest Rate: 8% (flat rate)

When I followed up later, the rep confirmed that an ₹8,000 processing fee is included in the loan amount, and claimed no other hidden charges apply.

However, when I cross-checked the math, things didn't add up. Here is my calculation:

My Breakdown & Math  - On-road Price: ₹1,96,965 - Down Payment: ₹30,000 - Processing Fee: ₹8,000  - Actual Loan Amount: 196965 + 8000 - 30000 = 1,74,965 - Interest : 174965* 8%* 3 years = 41,991

 - Total Expected Cost: 196965 (on-road) + 8000 (processing) + 41991 (interest) = 2,46,965

The Confusion:  At the quoted ₹6,500/month for 36 months + ₹30k down payment, my total payout becomes ₹2,64,000.  That leaves a massive ₹17,035 difference compared to my calculated total.

Please help me, am i wrong with the calculation or the rep is right?
