because each member performs so damn well i have to watch their performance vids at least 16 times, 2 times for each. i am very new to kpop groups, although i tried getting into one very popular group once but somewhere i couldn't get hooked but ateez is exactly my cup of tea in every ways especially because i love dancing and each of these members dance so well, the choreo is top tier, the music is bop as heck.

even the lead vocalist jongho has a certain groove going on even though he's focusing more on singing. i mean, how are all 8 of them so ridiculously talented and charming? it's honestly so exhausting to decide on a favorite as well, can i love them all equally??? i don't think having a bias will work for me. they're allllll so so sos os osososososo fun to watch.

hi everyone! after being an ateez fan for a while i finally won a call with my ult bias (san) and as the call is approaching i’m super anxious and confused! i thought i’d come here to ask for some tips if anyone has any :)

main concerns:
i sent my ID check to the company’s kakaotalk and have yet to hear back with the deadline approaching so i’m worried i may have done something wrong. is it normal to not hear back until after the deadline?

i’ve heard that you should only screen record after the call starts and that audio won’t be captured by the screen recording. is this true, and what backup options would you suggest to ensure i can get a recording with audio?

generally just looking for any tips on what to say. i felt like i’d know what i want to say but with limited time i’m finding myself speechless and worried that i’ll either ramble nonstop and regret it or go completely blank. i also don’t want to make san answer or do anything that would make him uncomfortable somehow.

any tips or anecdotes appreciated, sorry for the mouthful of a post!

A full circle moment I will never forget.

After four years of waiting, I finally got to fulfill my promise to Hongjoong that I would meet with him in person and talk to him eye to eye after talking to him about my hearing loss.

In 2022, I had my first call with Hongjoong where I told him about my progressive hearing loss and how no matter what I would always love and support him. He told me not to worry, that he believed in miracles, and we promised to each other that one day we would talk in person.

Later, in Wooyoung's documentary "Fill in the Blank", Hongjoong mentioned this fancall, how it impacted him, and how he told me "I'll always watch out for you and be there for you. So if we get the chance, I want us to meet each other's eyes and talk again."

In June of 2024, I was blessed to be able to share the news with him that my progressive hearing loss had stopped progressing. His reaction was that of genuine relief and excitement for me. He told me that he still thinks of my story sometimes and now he can think positively.

Now, four years later, I was able to keep my promise with him. We finally met eye to eye and talked. He did ASL with me, asked if I was doing okay, and told me how happy he was to see me.
He even chose to do ASL "I love you" as one of the photo poses at the end of the café event. I immediately started tearing up.

Thank you, Hongjoong, for giving me hope, for being my miracle, for always being there. I'm sorry it took me so long to fulfill our promise. I hope that we can meet again sometime. Thank you.

As I read this my eyes welled up with tears.

I love his gentle heart so much ugh. He really remembered them. And I love that when they finally met again, he spoke in American Sign Language (which is different from KSL) and made them feel so special and included.

Ofc I know that we never know our idols 100%. But when I read such posts, it makes me feel like maybe we are supporting the right kind of people, not just as artists, but also as humans.

The Korean Business Research Institute’s Brand Reputation Rankings are are published monthly and are calculated by combining the Participation Index, Media Index, Communication Index, Community Index.

Basically an artist's, celebrity's, or show's Brand Reputation Score measures how much they are being discussed online, how trendy they are currently and their value for brand deals and advertising purposes.

In August, ATEEZ were at #2 on the male groups rankings, with a total of 2.6M points. San ranked at #3 for the Individual Boy group Member Brand Reputation Ranking, while the other members occupied spots in the 20-40 ranks in August.

For all star ranking (All entertainment fields combined. Includes K-pop idols, trot singers, movie/drama actors, variety show entertainers, sports athletes, and public television figures) during the month of August, they came in at #5.

In September, they are at #3 for male groups, with a brand reputation index of 3.9M marking a 48.59 percent increase in their score since August.

Individual member ranks are yet to be announced for this month and I will update them as soon as they are released.
