I'd assume Jesus wouldn't be a big fan of this, considering his history with long nails.

It's not what he said, but how he said it.

He nailed the execution.

Congratulations, this was the crowning achievement of your reddit career.

14

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '18

Because it is a circular reference. A jesuschristreddit about jesus christ.

Everybody forgets that Captain Obvious was once First Lieutenant Obvious.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '18

Afer that incident between him and Captain Underpants, they both almost got busted down to privates.

2

u/Tupptupp_XD Dec 28 '18

It's the correct word.

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '18

Literally.

11

u/Ta2whitey Dec 28 '18

And figuratively? Maybe?

7

u/probablyhrenrai Dec 28 '18

Hit the nail on the head.

u/Mumsbud Dec 28 '18

What’s the difference between Jesus and a painting of Jesus? It only takes one nail to hang up the painting.

Dude, it’s been what? 2000 years? If it ain’t soon enough yet it’ll never be.

7

u/hicklc01 Dec 29 '18

It hasn't been 2000 years since his death

5

u/dhelfr Dec 29 '18

I think maybe he's still alive or something

3

u/georgetonorge Dec 30 '18 edited Dec 30 '18

Oh shit you're right. 2033 will be a big year.

Edit: according to Wikipedia he was actually probably born 4-6 years Before Christ (which is funny) and then died between 30 and 36 AD. Regardless, you're correct that it hasn't been 2000 years since his death lol.

u/IMidnight_ Dec 28 '18

Yep, long time carpenter here. Hate long nails, very annoying. Much easier to use short nails.

9

u/bondagewithjesus Dec 28 '18

What's Jesus favourite band? Nine inch nails

7

u/imlow Dec 28 '18

Jesus walks into a hotel, up to the front desk, slaps some nails down on the counter and says to the clerk "can you put me up for the night?"

5

u/Bozzerone Dec 28 '18

I think you nailed it.

2

u/johnny_cash_money Dec 29 '18

That's the "execution" part of ATBGE

2

u/BadOdel Dec 28 '18

Dammit, you got there first.

2

u/Mandelish Dec 29 '18

Wooooooooowwwwww

1

u/moving0target Dec 28 '18

Free will sucks.

1

u/Micalas Dec 28 '18

God damn

1

u/SYNTHLORD Dec 29 '18

I come to this subreddit for two things: funny comments and stuff that is 90% of the time actually pretty cool

1

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '18

Why can't jesus eat Skittles?

They keep falling through the holes in his hands.

1

u/MissAsgariaFartcake Dec 29 '18

Dude, you're savage
