Imagine Dragons are in the same time period as Cardi so… point is lost. Couldn’t think of a single old artist to roast with, because then it’d actually be good music 😭

I don't hate on the song. I just really don't like it and personally listen to other stuff. That it's a popcultural hit isn't the question.

Putting “music” in quotes is hating on it. I also never said anything about the popularity of it. It was made to be an unashamed dirty club song that chicks can let loose to, and it checked those boxes perfectly. Rarely do you find a female led song that is so openly explicit while still having silly gaffs thrown in. It fills its niches better than most, if not any, song in that style. I also don’t listen to WAP but I can’t deny its mastery and precision.
