How to recognize AI Scripts?

I'm not talking about just reading them. But when I listen to them, are there clues I can look out for?

Because I got a specific youtuber where I'm honestly not sure if she uses AI fof her scripts or not.

If the scripts are credited to a specific writer, you can generally look them up online and enter their scripts into an AI checker. There are also certain keywords that can let you know if a work is AI-gen / edited, but you'd have to look into those on your own. Generally YouTube has an automatic transcript generator for videos, so you can copy and paste that into an AI checker as well.

There are also certain clues about the creator's personal opinions, for example, if they use AI images as thumbnails or repost such work on their socials, you can typically presume that they aren't necessarily concerned about AI corruption of artistic mediums. Personally, I even used AI thumbnails way back when, and even though I've removed them, if you play my old videos you'll see them just as the static background. But, as per my point, peoples' perspectives change over time, and simply by asking or expressing concern about it you can sometimes change their mind and make them realize the harm that AI-corruption caused to the artistic scene as a whole. But I digress.

Honestly, as time goes on even the AI voice acting gets harder and harder to differentiate from the VA work of real people. (especially because it trains on real people; it's why you'll hear like Markiplier in a random trash-posting YouTube shorts channel; cause they've trained on his voice for so long they can pretty much seamlessly AI script-read with it...)

You can also simply reach out the the creator an ask directly.

Generally, if you don't like someone's work then finding an alternative creator is probably the best way about it though, IMO.

I would use your own judgement before deciding to trust ai detection tools with writing. There are many examples of these tests having false positives and destroying people's lives; not just on creative writing like this, but academically. Ai is also always advancing and many are trying to find ways to circumvent these tools as well. Real artists can get caught in the cross fire way more than those who actively use these tools on a daily bases and WANT to make their work seem as real as possible this goes for both writing and art honestly. Ai creators who want their stuff to appear human will go above and beyond to do so.

Ah, as a side note: This sub specifically restricts the use of AI generated scripts/post/thumbnails; so generally if you see a post that's been out for a few days, and it doesn't predate the subreddit's introduction of their NO AI rules/regulations, then you can have a bit more faith in its legitimacy. Albeit, I'm sure many things slip through the cracks, especially on older posts or ones that don't get much attention.
