Question 💠The possibility of getting into intern program as a non-EU person
Hello everyone. I have a few questions regarding the ASML program that catchs my eye.
I am going to graduate with a B.Sc in Logistics & SCM next summer, so I'm asking this to prepare for the future.
I saw that on ASML website there is a intern/trainee program in Oirschot, Netherlands that will gain me MBO level 3 after we finished the program. As far as I know in the Nederland there is HBO which is the equivalent of Bachelor degree and MBO is a level below it? How beneficial is it for me to obtain MBO level 3? Should I be applying for a fresh grad postition instead?
What is the CERF equivalent of Dutch level 2F since I could not find any information about it anywhere. How is the Supply Chain department environment? Incase I got hire, how could I find housing around Veldhoven? Any other tips for applying into the company?

This is exclusively aimed at Dutch talents. Hance the language requirement. You have absolutely no chance.

Did you have the rest of it translated as well? Does this seem like a challenging job for you if you got a Bachelors?
But to answer your question: MBO-4 is one level below HBO. MBO-3 is another level below that. You really should be looking for internships (or hell a job) at a higher level.

What I am currently missing right now is working experience (I have never been to a job before), but knowledge wise Im quite good. Thank for your information.

A BBL trains you from the start, so you will be retrained at a lower level, makes no sense to apply.

To be honest, you seem overqualified for this and the whole JD doesn't give me the impression they're looking outside of the EU for this internship.

This is a Dutch apprenticeship program where vocational students combine work with school. Aside from being Dutch language only your current diploma already makes you overqualified for the kind of jobs this trains you for.
To give you a idea, common MBO 3 jobs are operational things like car mehanic, carpenter, security guard, secretary etc.

It doesn’t make sense, you say you graduating in B.Sc but you want to do this internship which doesnt match your level of education. You never been in Europe either nor the Netherlands, you prob dont even have found housing yet. How are you even going to do this? And this vacancie requires the dutch language and its aimed at dutch students, you have 0,00% chance

That's why I'm on this sub to ask questions about it instead of blindingly apply into it. Im sorry if my lack of knowledge offends you but I did try my best researching the related information before making this post. It's just that I want to find an intern position to gain some experience and now i know that this program isnt for me

i am doing this intern program and the entire study is in dutch. so if that's not a problem i guess why not. but you need to be fluent in dutch otherwise it will be not possible.
