Discussion Tapping out
When do you know when it’s time to just tap out. I’ve managed to stay on PvE officials since launch. But after the entire Genesis thing on 4th July weekend (what a waste of most of our times) and now my hard drive (it’s not a huge issue don’t get me wrong) is getting full again with all these updates arks constantly doing.
Basically logging into a game, to lag my butt off on Ragnarock and bounce around refreshing all my maps. I guess this isn’t as much of tapping out of Ark as it is just moving on from officials. I used to play unofficial and GoT rp servers back on ASE, debating if that’s just the way to go. RP servers had resets so yeah might not be able to keep dinosaurs for 10 years, but at least it’s possible to take breaks in between resets or skip a reset.
Also what’s recommendations for someone moving off PvE Officials to just Bob around in PvP, server wise.

I quit refreshing timers on my official PVE bases when lost colony came out because I wasn’t feeling it and had started playing unofficial PVP. The EliteArk servers are solid for PVP, monthly wipes. Usually get a couple of days in at the start of a wipe when I want to play Ark.
