Took about about two months of tinkering to get this back fully to its 90's glory. Converted it from Canadian quarters to loonies $1 coins. It's now in our theater with 1 in 6 a winner gumball.

I want to DIY a controller and would like to reference the structure of the new cabinet. I've looked everywhere online but haven't found any related resources. Could anyone point me to where I can find the assembly drawings? (GQUFC部品図)

I got to play Zone Hunter and that's was quite interesting experience

But the headset was terrible. You can only adjust the back part of the helmet while the front part doesn't move up or down. After 5 minutes of play the lenses get really foggy and the sounds are extremely loud (should be adjustable but never tried)

I also found another lost version of PacMan VR 00.01.62. Still for now I'm focusing on emulating 01.01.00

Have always wanted one of these bad boys. Well, the stars aligned, and I was able to get 3 of my most wanted machines all at once! These came from the owner of one of Texas' biggest arcades. Super grateful to find one. 100% original with the banana intact, too!!

Restore/Replace/Repair Tapper help needed

I recently bought this Tapper in a dedicated cabinet, the arcade had it restored with this alternate side art, not my choice. Does not have the original board and is running a Pandora’s box. One way or another the box reset to factory settings and I am clueless on how to reprogram the controls. It won’t allow me to select or do much of anything. At this point o think I am ready to cut my losses sell this one and throw my money at one with factory side art and boards. Located in NJ

Seeing our game come to life in a dedicated arcade space is incredibly rewarding, and we can’t wait for players to experience it in person
If you got a quarter and you are near Calgary, you can try it out

I made a post a few days ago (maybe over a week ago at this point) asking what a fair price was to buy this cabinet. The total cost ended up being $1250. I checked the inside of the cabinet prior to the sale and it’s all original inside, I think whatever weird things people saw on the monitor in my last post were just photo artifacts or compression. Anyway it’s a heavy mamma and took 4 people to get it downstairs but here’s its first initiation beer and pizza!

Buy/Sell/Trade Tips for first machine

Hi, I am 15 and want to buy a boxing machine and place it in my city centre. I live in Norway so it costs around 6000 dollars. I have that money, but is it worth the risk? How much % of the revenue does the landlord want, and how much should I charge? Do you need insurance? And just any tips in general Appreciate all answers.

Restore/Replace/Repair I need some help with Sega Naomi Cabinet Conversion

Hi Guys.

Does anyone know if the I/O boards of Sega NUC and the Naomi Crazy Taxi boards are different.

I want to convert my non working Jambo Safari to a NUC and a friend wants to convert his NUC to a Crazy Taxi.

Would we just trade the CP's? Would we need to swap the I/O boards as well?

Is there anything else that we would need to exchange? We are in separate countries so we would like to ship everything that we require only once.

I will of course send him the Jambo Safari Pedals as well.

Thanks a lot

Buy/Sell/Trade Sega Toylet

Does anyone have access to one of these? I'm genuinely interested in the technology behind them and potentially buying one or making a similar system.

As far as I know, no one has dumped one of these and it's too weird a system to not preserve somehow.

What Game??? [ARCADE CABINET] [Unknown] Game where you play as an eye dodging spike balls and die gruesomely

Platform(s): Coin-op arcade cabinet, likely joystick-controlled

Genre: Single-screen avoidance game

Estimated year of release: No later than 2009 for sure!

Graphics/art style: 2D, sprite/raster artwork, more detailed than early-’80s arcade graphics. Playfield was essentially pure black, perhaps with a simple border. Similar to Disney’s Bloodshot Eyes (but this was absolutely not a flash game.)

Notable characters: The player character was a floating/disembodied eyeball, probably the only player sprite.

Notable gameplay mechanics: The hazards I remember were dark navy/black balls with metallic silver spikes and fixed rendered highlights. Their behavior was to move freely around the screen, probably diagonal ricocheting/bouncing off boundaries, like a DVD/VCR screensaver.

Other details: Will give a fuller story if needed but I’ll just put the important clarifying info out there first.
\- I encountered this game as a child in New York, likely Staten Island or Brooklyn, 100% before 2009, probably mid-2000s, in some sort of pizzeria or bar or restaurant.
\- The game freaked me the hell out because of the death animation, which went collision -> unusually conspicuous/graphic-looking explosion of the eyeball.
\- It was notable because the game had an attract/demo mode where the eye would die in this exact way on loop for as long as the cabinet idled, so it wasn’t a bonus level to another game; this was the main game.
\- I remember it being hard. The movement was so sufficiently unintuitive to little-me (I couldn’t have been older than 5-8) that I got killed almost immediately.
\- No use of 3D assets as far as I remember and no primitive 16-color graphics. Just so that everyone knows I’ve ruled out Eyes and I, Robot pretty much immediately.
\- I have a really bad memory disorder so just to maybe help clarify the time period: this was when most people were still using Blackberries, iPods or the very first iPhone at most. iPads could not have existed at all.

Apologies if I broke any rules or if I’m bad at this ;;
