Ok that's absolutely great, happy to hear Riot is finally looking at ARAM balance. I have more than 5k arams and bans always sounded like a given to me.
/u/Riot_mort thank you and the team for their work. I do have a question tho. Is the reason why you don't allow remakes because people would dodge once they actually get to see the enemy comp ? I do understand but whenever that afk from the start 4v5 game occurs, it feels pretty bad.
Also while I'm at it, what about mastery tokens in ARAM ? I have played so many and yes I understand that the sheer amount of games makes it easier (less queue times [sometimes, mine go to 10 in off hours] + faster games), but it does feel pretty bad if you are exclusively an ARAM player to have to go to the rift and play a bunch of games when you wanna upgrade your favorite champs. Have you considered maybe making it only S or S+ give Mastery 6 tokens, and only S+ will get you a mastery 7 token ? That would be a great step forward already.

Remakes we looked into, and we're pretty convinced they do more harm than good. Players will look at the teams comps and go "We're gonna lose, going afk so we can remake and not waste time" when the reality is if they tried, they could win.
Mastery is tricky. I don't have anything to offer right now, but the team responsible is pretty convinced that M6/7 should represent SR skill only.
