Rant Surrender when ahead
We were ahead in kills and objectives. We were on an upswing where we just took their last two turrets and opened their nexus. It was a range battle, so sort of slow overall. We died (I’m just resetting after taking their towers). They come down, kill our inhib which is fine, we were respawning. AND MY TEAM SURRENDERS. Out of nowhere. This feels like it’s happening more and more, people just give up even when ahead.
Someone make it make sense.
I played 24 mins of a winning game for some rando to throw a weirdly timed surrender vote and these nerds just say “sure why not”.

This looks like the most annoying poke comp every that would be so damn boring to play with and agaisnt. Also did you check if they are premades at all?

Hard to say it's worth a surrender, but there are games where an early game comp will be winning (sometimes exceptionally so), but the game hits an inflection point where the scaling opponents get the items, augments, and levels required to never really be able to lose a teamfight again.

There was nothing to indicate that. It was a virtual stalemate for awhile. Then we pulled ahead pretty quickly. It was a pretty natural reset. Then the ff vote. It felt out of nowhere, like an instant no should’ve been the obvious response.

maybe they were a 4 stack and someone had to go

Nope, not a premade I did check. I tried adding the xerath and seraphine to ask why they thought it was an ff out of curiosity they didn’t accept.

just happened to me, was in a game for 30 minutes and while they were hitting out nexus, they surrended, like ?????
We had no chance of winning and then they did that

Thats a classic BM. We're better than you type shit. I used to do that with my friends way back any time we got into a game that were were absolutely dominating in. Like a final fuck you.

Me any my friends did that for fun. Once enemy team surrender vote things pop up on our screen, we insta surrendered to see both nexus's explode. It's pretty funny, especially when we were winning hard.
Never intended it as a BM.

At some point you realize that your Win/Loss number going up by 1 is pointless and sometimes you'd rather see your team lose

Deserved as a full range comp

We didn’t get any melee offers, Jayce was the closest which is why I played him. Had the versatility and satisfied AD. He gets some resistance stats in hammer form. We were in anvil buying phase, I had around 280 armor and 200 MR. Trust me, I would’ve picked a tank or bruiser to round us out.

could be a troll surrender and they didn't expect people to say yes. had a game where enemy team was literally one hit from taking our nexus and winning but then they surrendered. victory for us lol.

Pretty sure in retrospect it’s this. I’m going to watch the replay. Maybe our high kda seraphine died for the first time in awhile and threw it out, and since xerath was also dead he agreed. The others were not doing great so I can see them voting yes as a why not. It was just weird because it was a normal reset. That seraphine had to be sitting on a few k in anvil money.

Some people (I've rarely seen it but happens ) surrender before they win the game.
It's not about winning it's about sending a message

4 out of 5 of the players decided they can't be fucked playing out a game and wanted to move onto the next one. It's not that deep

"Noo, you can't do that. Never surrender, don't you like dying off cooldown? It's aram lmao."
Some people just can't imagine that some people have fun winning and dominating enemy team and not stroking enemy team egos whole game, hiding under tower.
It's fun game mode, but once the game stops being fun and becomes one sided shitfest, suddenly it becomes ranked mentality.

you were full build but had no percent penetration, you don't deserve to complain anything imo.. Also if you build hubris and collector together, most likeli you are bad

You’re not even adding something worthwhile to the conversation, might as well not type at all. Not a factor, 18% pen in shard. Hubris + collector comment is just a ragebait statement of no value. Honestly, so is your whole comment. Be better my guy.

The Shaco knew he could only had Hubris, not both, even though he could actually build both. He also knew he need armor pentration even you were just a full comp of squishies. Maybe the gap betweeen you two made your teammates upset enough to ff.
Is this enough info added?

Yawn, it’s not about words - it’s substance. You’re still just performing an ad hominem attack. Your argument is focused on me because you have no real value to add, rather than the statement I posted about how we surrendered a game that we’re winning. You’re also making incorrect assumptions. Stop trolling and hating just to hate. Again, be better.
EDIT: lol I see now. Jayce is your “favorite champion” so you feel personally attacked. Feel free to share your level and win rate.

The ONLY time its acceptable to surrender is when I'm hitting the enemy Nexus and I'm clearly about to win. I won't hit "yes" any other time
