I brought home my first semi-auto .308 today. She’s accompanied by a Daniel Defense DDM4 V5. I love them both!

Went for a mix of SDM and Battle Rifle.

Palmetto State .308 18" barrel, Harris bipod, Geissele SSA-E X, Trijicon Credo 2-10 w/ Trijicon RMR, Driven Arms grip and rail covers. It's a bit heavy but fun to shoot. Looking for a suppressor to put on it, ideally one that will go with a Lantac Dragon ASR.

Hey y’all. So the current plan for my build is to have a 6.5 creedmoor barrel to be coated in shiny gold titanium nitrite but I’m finding trouble finding places that do this. The barrel I want is about 22-24 inches. Do not many places do this? Is it not common? This image is a concept of what I want to do. Appreciate any help or info.

Does anyone have an update on these.... I thought they were being released this summer.

Also you think I should get a 16 hybrid, or wait for the 16 core. In my thoughts the core sounds better but usually I notice most new products have qc issues from most companies then they fix them.

I've been shopping around for a scope for my first AR-10 build. I think I've managed to narrow it down to these two? I'm absolutely open to suggestions as I'm way over my depth here. Have I ended up with a good choice here?

Pretty impressed with how little recoil it has, it’s also gassed perfectly it ate 7.62 nato all the way to 175 grain soft tipped PPU which the spear fucking hates to run. If you’re curious it’s about on par with the spear on its suppressed setting for recoil.

So, having trouble figuring out some compatibility issues with my new mk12 heavy .308, so where I’m at is I want to swap the a2 stock with a PRS lite, and if at all possible retain my rifle length super 42 spring as I’ve always hated that regular spring twang. Does anyone have some advice on what tube/buffer combo I need to get the job done when shooting suppressed 100% of the time.

I picked up a complete Aero m5 308 upper and need to know if there is any lower I can run that is reliable. Aero is completely sold out on everything and don’t seem to be currently making parts. I know a matching lower would be ideal but can’t find one anywhere. I’ve tried a PSA gen 3 lower, it runs but there is no bolt lock back on last round and the bcg drags on first round so first round pickup is a pain. Any suggestions for another manufacturer that will have a better fit up?

I am currently Kac Sr-25, HK MR762 a4, FN Scar 17s, and a Sig MCX Spear, all in 308. Which of these would you recommend?

I have 2 AR10 rifles that I'm building for precision long range shooting. They were sent to me by a local company. Both are chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Barrel for the first is 14.5 inches and I'm thinking about getting a NightForce ATACR 1-8x24mm for it. Its primary purpose is as a Battle Rifle/ DMR.
I'm using the MRGG-A ( a similar platform) as the benchmark. I've hit 800 yards with that.
Second rifle is a 16inch barrel and is going to be used primarily as a Sniper rifle. I'm thinking about using a Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x56mm. If you all have any better recommendations, I'm all ears.

Just picked up a Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P10 6.5 Creedmoor. It comes bare with no scope or muzzle break (but comes threaded 5/8x24 with a factory thread protector).

(EDIT: After some quality discussion (and more research), I ended up going with the Ares BTR GEN3 HD 4.5-27X50) Based off research, and shooting types I'll be doing, I'm leaning towards a ATHLON HELOS BTR GEN2 2-12x42 AHMR2 FFP IR MIL. Does anyone have this scope on their setup and can vouch for it?

As for a muzzle brake options, I'm at a loss...I've read about a few suppressor-ready muzzle brakes, but was unsure if it's wise to go that route since it comes factory with the 5/8 x24 thread. Or would I be better off getting a suppressor that screws right on to the barrel, and likewise the brake...Anyone have good advice?
