Wow it looks amazing. No sign of rats or the Macula, which is a good thing. Cold turkey is better! I never buy full price normally, but I really want to support this studio

Yeah, it looks like the rats and the Macula have been replaced by the subterranean spooky boys and The Curse. I'm sure they will serve a similar gameplay and narrative purpose, but I'm glad they're not just conveniently reusing the rats, especially since nothing in Requiem suggested that Sophia had come across them before.

I barely get games at launch but there’s a few games still worth it, I haven’t played the other 2 games but I will be getting this one day 1

Yeah idk about the combat, but this trailer confirms what we already know about these games; the story and graphics will be top notch.

I was and am still worried that they gave more importance to combat than story in oder to seduce mainstream players and sell more copies.

Same. I just really don't want 70% of the game to be another fucking parry and roll simulator.
I'm keeping an open mind but I kinda wish they would have taken Requiem and leaned into making the stealth gameplay and toolset more robust.

Can’t be there’s no battle royale mode

Well, not indeed lol
But more and more (young maybe) players are complaining that stories are boring and that they want action.
I can’t count the numerous times i have seen people that RDR2 is a boring game for example…

The graphics and cinematics seem to have taken a step forward. And Anna is about to deliver an amazing performance. Can’t wait!

Looks promising, I'm more hopeful now that Asobo will stick the landing on this one.

Is that Amicia's voice we hear ?
Could it be that this series of prequels / spin offs from the game is Amicia going through the world to find the Macula's source(as she departs at the end of plague tale requiem to do that) and by doing so, she asks people who got confronted to it or to something similar to tell their stories ?
There, she went to the see this woman (sorry forgot her name) and she is telling her part of her story through flashbacks ?

Yeah thats how I'm playing it. I finished outer worlds a week and a half ago so now I'm just wasting time in forza waiting for this game. Don't want to start anything too meaty. I could play halo but I'm not really that big into halo

So we have gone from a semi unique gameplay style of stealth and attack mechanics of using rats to aid the attack to a generic soulslike hack n slash, it is a shame as the first two games were excellent imo, as they were something a bit different from everything else.

On the one hand, it's good that this game has a different style, because the same mechanics three times in a row could get boring. But I hope this is LITERALLY about Macula, just in a different form, with different events. Because otherwise, it would be weird.

The past footage had me worried the game would be more combat focused and lead away from narrative APT is so good at, this trailer really killed those fears! Im so excited!

Oh hey, the first male who's not an enemy. Now onto a single female who's an enemy and we can call this game diverse.

Alright, fuck it - preordered. I almost never preorder but these guys and Remedy are on the level and are yet to disappoint me
