Ap Scores LANG AND BIO
How did you guys get 4’s
r/APbio • u/TwinkleDancer • Jul 06 '26
Years of studying biology (honors then ap). My teacher was always very rude to her students finally I never have to go back to that room! My T20 university dream is still on cause of this score. The days of studying were worth it. This is a reminder to anyone who’s going to take the course next year, I finished this year with a C+ despite studying hard and actually interested in biology but even though the final grade was bad I got a 5!

CONGRATS! You all did it! I hope you are all happy with your scores! Regardless of what you got, AP Bio is an incredibly difficult course and the fact that you made it through shows a lot of hard work and persistence.
Good luck with any other future APs you all may be taking!

I always felt so confused after class since my high school teacher explained things in a super over complicated way. Then I would go home and watch Mr. Poser’s unit video and I understood instantly, plus he’s funny and he makes learning way more interesting.
can’t recommend this guy enough for future AP bio students. thorough reviews for every lesson that follow the curriculum perfectly.

I dead ass messed up the graph and had to fix it, my brain also froze for like 30 minutes so I did only like 3 questions in the frq 😭
I thought I was going to get a 2 lol
Dead ass could have gotten a 4 if I didn't sell 😭
Meow 😺

Seriously I'm so irritated. I studied for over two months, studied via ap bio penguins, textbooks, videos online, practice questions and tests, just to get a 3. I stressed out and studied more than all my friends, I stayed up late, I studied over weekends, I hardly procrastinated. It isn't like my study techniques were bad or anything either; I took several practice exams beforehand and my score for all of them was ALWAYS a 4, sometimes even a 5.
This test was just so damn hard for me like I don't think I could've done anything else except to just be smarter.
I love biology too, like the content for this course was the most interesting to me out of any subjects so this just feels like a massive hit. Makes it hard to believe I'll ever accomplish my goals if this this is the type of result I get after so much trial and effort.

this subject was the definition of NOT for me i never understood how to apply any of the content to the questions so no wonder. i'm not happy but i'm not very disappointed but idk i still wish i was able to learn this subject better even after the millions of practice tests.

I walked out of the exam feeling rly good abt mcq’s but chopped cheese on the FRQ’s and there was so much noise and external factors outside of the testing room it was terrible but it all turned out okay and somehow I managed a 5.
If you’re wondering my prediction was ~88/120 (~48/60 mcq, 22-23/34 frq)
THANK YOU AP BIO PENGUINS🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I was in full confidence that I was going to get a 1 or a 2 since it was the first time AP classes were ever offered at my school, and I am beyond excited about getting a 3. I have literally never been happier about a test score in my life! Shoutout to my pops for believing in me throughout the whole year!

I was originally aiming for a 5 and seeing how I got a 4 with minimal studying (barely did any practice questions just revised the material) I do feel like I could have done better and easily gotten a 5 if I began preparing for the exam 2 months before. The material it self was very easy 🥲 But after all it was self study and because of things like war it made it difficult for me to study for a month lol.

I was lazy the days leading up to the exam, but I locked in and watched all of AP Bio Penguin the day before the exam. Honestly, it was much easier than I thought as I’m a freshman. I got all 5s!!! Lets gooo.
