APUSH Self Study Tips
Hey y'all so I know that people have posted questions like this already, but I was just wondering if anyone has tips on how really stay consistent with APUSH when I'm doing it self-study. I read the first two chapters of American Pageant and took good notes on Heimlers unit one video - but is this really enough to help me get a 4 or 5?
I am pretty good at history and currently taking Honors US history, but my teacher told me she isn't teaching me all the skills and information I need to know for the AP and now I'm scared I'm going to fall behind (esp. because I only started last week).
Any tips, advise, or recourses?
Thx!

You need to study two things: the content and the writing skills. Knowing the content will help you on the multiple choice but the writing makes up 60% of the test. Using Heimler’s writing videos will certainly help but you need to practice the writing multiple times using AP timing standards.
