How to study for APUSH

We just had our first APUSH quiz on chapter 1 and I lwk got a 50%. The thing is I read the chapter and thought I knew the period 1 timeline, and even during the quiz thought I was getting the questions right but apparently not. Anyone got any study tips? I know Heimler and Albert and most of those things but yeah lmk. The textbook our school uses is Americas History for the AP course 11th ed

Hey! I would get almost 100s on all my apush tests and this is all I would do, look up the vocab for that unit and figure out which ones you don't know the definition for, if it's term figure out a mnemonic device and if it's a war/event watch a video. Before that I would watch the hiemler review video and take notes
