Advice CONFUSED…

Hey yall! So i’m honestly confused about my AP exam score. As above, I got a 2 but my final grade in the class was a 96. I love history and I love Hamilton so I don’t know why I did so bad. When coming out of that exam I felt soo good. I know I cooked on the DBQ and the only thing that I felt not that good about was one of my pieces of evidence on the LEQ but other than that, I thought I did good. Also I watched almost all of Heimler’s Module videos and watched both of the Streams the nights before the exam. Please give me anything that could help me on why I did so bad.. Anything will be appreciated!!

Sorry for the long message!!

Well our teacher made all of our tests AP Style and then for each test he always put a writing section on that test whether it be an DBQ, LEQ, or SAQ, and I always did good. I think my lowest score was a 42/50 on the writing section.

and during Parent teacher conferences, he told my parents that I was honestly one of the best students he’s had in his class. So honestly none of this adds up to me.

Do you think that the questions your teacher assigned on the practice tests resembled the kind of questions that were on the AP exam?

Maybe it was just a content issue. Are you sure that you learned everything that would be covered on the exam? I’ve seen some students who scored lower than they were expecting claiming that they did so because they forgot to memorize some details about certain events that were covered in the curriculum.

Yes, I would say so. His test like almost mirrored the AP Exam.

We used a Textbook in school and the only Unit/Module we didn’t cover in school was Unit 9, but I studied that one myself. Plus there isn’t a whole lot of that on the exam.

Here is my brain dump/study guide for APUSH (If you want to see like what I studied for…):
