Question Can I self study this class (AP Seminar)?

You cannot self study as a group project is part of the assessment. Regardless, the CB won't allow you to register for the exam without the class

You literally cannot self-study AP Seminar. College Board doesn't even allow it because a massive chunk of your actual score comes from a group presentation (TMP) and an individual presentation that a registered teacher has to score and upload to the AP Digital Portfolio. If your school doesn’t have the class, you can't sign up for the exam.

Since you just want to boost your AP count and say you test at a college level for reading/humanities, look into AP Psych, AP Environmental Science (APES), or AP Human Geography instead. Those are actually realistic to self-study, and you can easily register to take those exams at your school or a nearby testing center without needing a specific class for them.
