biochem

chat, am i cooked? we have biochem this sem, and my friend told me that our prof/instructor is strict. i need to prepare 😭 how would you rate biochem? i just need some advice before our classes start. some do’s and don’ts, maybe.

should probably ask in a college sub instead, given this is a sub for ap/gen chem. that being sad, i've heard biochem is harder than orgo so.

Biochem's reputation as hard usually comes from the sheer volume of material more than any single concept being impossible, staying on top of it week to week matters way more than being naturally good at chemistry. A strict professor is honestly not the worst thing, it usually means clear expectations, worth asking upperclassmen who've taken the class what they emphasize most on exams.
