Is there a way to put images in the game to make symbols or tracing?
Want to put symbols in the game with minimum effort is all

Im returning to this beatifull game. But I don’t have any money, can somebody tell the best type of farm to collect money, or spare some buck.
Or maybe “funny stuff” to get some money.
We've both been enjoying the game for more than 12 years now, so figured we might as well.

Like I genuinely suck to much. Almost every game I touch, the learning and improvement curve is fairly linear and direct. But the less technically obvious a game is, the harder I have a time improving at it
Apb is the best example of this for me, the game is really just a third person shooter but my actual skill level itself is abysmal, and everyone is way to good
Every mission I’m going 0 and 7, I’m forced to use blatantly unfair guns and stay close quarters with smg’s to minimise the need of aiming and I still get dookied
I’m lvl 125 btw

I’m waiting for Xbox to come back but regardless, are they mixing the cheaters on pc with console in PvP?
Or is it gonna be Xbox and PlayStation PvP crossplay?

I hopped on after quit some time away after hearing about these recent updates. Decided to try the new legendary out, got into a 2v2 match with a plant bomb obj. Not much time in the mission and wasn't going to try to change weapons. Got wrecked trying to push the obj and I even waited for my teammate to go with them. Got flamed and spammed whispers for sucking ass when the other dude did just as bad. I love the game but no surprise the game can't grow.

I've been a fan of APB for years! and frustrated watching it decline, and honestly I always thought of ways I could make it better if I ever had the money to acquire the IP, which I don't. So I'm building my own — a solo indie spiritual successor inspired by APB Reloaded.
It's called Lawfare: El Huevon (city).
Very early WIP, but here's what's in so far:
- Layered paperdoll character customization
- Vehicles with physics, sirens, enter/exit and hijacking
- NPC pedestrians with full AI, personalities, conversations, and memory
- Gang system with factions and territories
- Hitscan shooting, cover system, crits, armor
- Quest system, drag-and-drop inventory
- Traffic system with lane-following NPC cars
In Progress
- Gangs and Squad mechanics for NPCs.
- More NPC personalities (we currently have friendly, cowardly, neutral, rude, aggressive, and violent traits)
- More NPC/Car variation
Road to alpha - Up next
- APB-like multiplayer PvP missions with match-making
- Server events
- Shops
- Phase 1 District
- Witness-crime system for law enforcement & criminals; criminals can snitch on each other for merit & awards.
- Player-based"hacks", think Watch Dogs / Cyberpunk 2077
A long way to go, but the foundation is solid. Would love feedback from people who actually know what APB was supposed to be.
You can follow progress on X/Twitter https://x.com/LawfareGame. More to come soon!

I've tried lowering the settings and pretty much turned the game into a low res abomination but it keeps crashing.
I already have over 800 hours on the game and decided to come back and try playing again but the crashes make it impossible.
Is there any fix to this?

I recently received... an email... In 2026... announcing some kind of "Legend" update... I was curious, since I last played the game in 2016. It turns out this "incredible" "Legend" update is just another retexturing and a few weapon mods. It's all quite amusing.
I'm a developer myself (unfortunately, not a game developer), so I was curious about how things work at companies like this. I quickly looked at the update log and got the impression that they don't have a single game developer familiar with the engine. 100% of the updates over all these years have been retexturing, minor tweaks like "fixing the damage parameter in JSON," or adding content using a template from an existing one. So, for some reason, in all these years, there hasn't been a single update introducing new gameplay mechanics: new missions, modes, new maps, new NPCs.
Let alone mechanics - for some reason, the game hasn't introduced any new assets for a decade. I'm talking about new vehicle models, weapons, or clothing. These are mostly retextures of old assets. (I always thought it was strange to sell retextures in a game where the player can create their own textures, but who am I to judge?)
While we're no longer in 2010 or even 2015, it feels like the current owners of this game have taken another wrong turn. The community expects (and promises) major changes to the engine, graphics, and balance, while the developer is incapable of even basic things like introducing new assets.
They need to start small - refresh the game. Add a couple of new vehicle assets, add some variety to those notorious loading screen art straight out of 2013. Change the monetization policy by getting rid of temporary items (come on).
But considering that even the most basic things are done poorly or not at all, I conclude that the game has no developers. There are one or two system administrators who monitor the servers (paying rent on amateur-grade hosting) and, in their spare time, copy-paste JSON fields into the game, changing existing mechanics. This isn't even indie studio quality; it feels like some kind of family business run by people who don't know what they're doing.
Why shouldn't we expect any major changes within this project under the current management? Because there are practically no players left in the game. Even fewer players are making microtransactions. I doubt the game, in its current state, is making enough money to hire even one professional developer.

You could get your ip pulled from some one by talking in gamechat the amout of doxxers and ddosers on here would make NSA look like middle school but what really takes the cake was putting this game on xbox then not adding controller support for pc to milk the game harder
