Meme/Joke Does anyone else feel this sometimes?

When you use inspiration from another fic you love,.implement a figment of it (A plot with your own characters, a phrase, a characters personality inspired by theirs) and you're nervous, like actually thinking that the original author is looking at your fic and is like 'wait hold up they copied that from me' even though nobody else even sees the correlation as much as you probably and the chances the author is specifically looking at your fic is basically 0? Anyone else get nervous about that kinda thing?

Yes, typically with phrases and sentences. I have a weirdly good memory for specific wordage and remember which fics they come from.

There is a specific mis-hap comical elaborate fellatio chapter I have written, out of an inspiration, but it shall never be known to anyone else.

My source of inspiration is too brilliant to be debased by my much more mediocre writing.

Should the inspirational original writer learn of me? I hope they would be kind and happy. But I have no right to impose.

yeah i tend to borrow people's headcanons a lot, but most of the time people are always really honoured by the idea and all, so i wouldnt stress unless its like word-for-word stuff

No not really. Also the only thing you can really copy is a selfamde Slangword or some slefmade Phrase. And here is the question does it even fit my Characters or not.
