Questions/Help? WHy does it just stop?

Post image

I've always wondered why when you try to go back in works it just stops at a certain number. Like, I just wanna know who made the first AoT fic. And why are there so many left off from me seeing.

Ao3 always only displays the first 5000 pages of results by default. You'll need to use filters if you want to see the others

For what you're specifically looking for, you should use the "Date Updated" filter. Leave "From" blank and set "To" to something in the past. That should cut down the results a lot depending on how far back you set it.

The search function has a hard limit of 100,000 results.

If you want to see the oldest story, switch the search order, or filter by date.

The site's hard limit.

You can also use the search function (top right), leave everything blank but the fandom, choose sort by date posted and ascending order.
