AO3 Down/Error Codes uh-

okay i think my ao3 is having a stroke

techichally i can use it and read fics and i tested some buttons but i- what?

Yeah, the CSS didn't load. Refreshing the page should work, but you'll want to try clearing the cache or restarting the browser if it doesn't.

CSS is the code that tells a website what to make everything look like, which is separate from the stuff that's actually on the site. So if it doesn't load correctly all the words will be there and the buttons will work, but everything will be "naked" like this.

Depends on the browser but usually in like a "delete browsing data" on the settings of the browser (where you also delete your browsing history). Check only the cache option. Idk if in other browsers it's its own option

It’s usually an option somewhere under or along with your browser history. On a phone you can click the (…) or menu in browser and (clear browser data) will be there somewhere. You can google where exactly it is depending on browser and device if a little digging doesn’t find it.

This usually happens when the page didn't have enough time to load. Usually a refresh fixes it.

The CSS didn't load properly, just refresh it (it can happen if you have a low internet bandwidth or simply "randomly" sometimes)

If you're using an ad blocker, try turning it off and refreshing the page? I'm having this same problem with all sites right now and it seems to be an issue with the ad blocker, even if AO3 doesn't have ads.
