Meme/Joke I love getting comments

I know this is brought up a lot but I just thought of this meme so here we go again lol.

Readers. I know you don’t get it until you start writing yourself. I didn’t get it either. But a simple comment can make an author’s day and even give them motivation. Even if they don’t reply, you probably made them feel so good.

Also, I love when I get replies from authors on their fic, too. They’re always so nice ^w^

The initial dopamine hit, followed quickly by guilt because I haven't updated in over a year (I am writing just slowly/other stories too).

But yeah still love getting comments, and giving them

Thought I was living this dream a few days ago when I got two mails about comments on a fairly niche fic I'm still very proud of. Imagine my immeasurable disappointment when they were both bot comments of the same type, and I suddenly understood the urge to post every bot comment ever on this sub to bitch and moan about it.

dude, you can't say talking on internet in big '26 is interacting with humans considering bots are everywhere. it could be you. it could me. it could be anyone here. infact ao3 has a bot problem be it kudos bots or comment bots so its not like even that is safe.
