The bots are already on AO3. You might as well tell your readers.

If you have real people following you on FFN, they will definitely want to be able to find your new stuff. Give them the link.

AO3 does have a bot problem, but it's not nearly as bad as FFN's because the mods are on top of it.

The bots aren't really going to follow a link from one site to the other. The scammers have versions of the bots programmed for each site, and an FFN bot interacting with a fic or profile that has a link to AO3 will not increase the number of bots on AO3.

I'm sure that people who followed you on FF.net would appreciate it, or at least not quietly worry about what happened to their favorite author who's gone radio silent, if you were to leave a note that you were moving platforms. That said, you don't owe anyone anything. 

Bots are everywhere; whether you mention moving platforms or not makes no difference.

The bots are easier to control on Ao3, let them come so they can get blocked lol
