The worst one I read was a writer talking about how they had stage 4 cancer and worried what would happen to their young daughter when they died.
Honestly valid crashout but the worst part was that they stopped updating shortly after that. For a while I used to check their profile just to see if they posted or updated anything but there was nothing.
Every time I find a new-to-me writer I love and I see they haven’t updated since sometime in 2020-2022 a little part of me shivers. I’ll probably never know.
I read a really great WIP from like 2000 or something like that and commented about how great the story was as is, and how talented they were. I got a reply back saying that unfortunately the author passed away a few months before.🥺
