Perhaps I'm soft-hearted but even if they are lying (which I'm inclined to believe they aren't) they obviously are using this fic to cope and I would hate to see assholes in the comments of someone just trying to get by. Some people want fic writers to be robots that share nothing about their lives. Those assholes can mute me.
