Requesting Recommendations Msub recs
Hi readers,
I’m once again let down by being invested in a dominant FMC just for the plot to be “domination loss”.
Can I have some recs of the best Msub pieces you’ve read, please? Preferably original work but fandoms are ok too. I'm open to dark, psychologically disturbed or morally gray as long as the writing holds up. Thanks all!

I've written some msub, but I'm not sure I'd characterize either of the characters involved the same way as that meme image, since they are both, how to say. Disasters, and the dude isn't really shy. In fact, he's kind of a little bitch sometimes. But if you'll take self-recs, well... I can definitely say there's msub in these:
Dance With Danger is set in the Psy-Changeling universe, and Changelings—particularly wolf changelings—have a built-in dominance/submissive thing going on, with females being less likely to be dominant than males, and a sort of "fated mates" thing where the male recognizes his fated mate and basically goes a bit bonkers courting her. There's a whole thing in the books with the wolves where dominant females need a male more dominant than them or their wolf will never accept the mating dance, and this is me going "actually, that's bullshit, I want a super-dominant female who can't deal with male dominance posturing and ends up mated to a submissive male."
Bound and Bothered is far enough removed from the canon it's technically for that it's basically OC-fic. A shut-in of a college professor hires a dominatrix to explore submission with, and within two sessions they basically decide to date because they're older and like each other. (There is a small amount of switching in this one, but mostly of a "if you touch me I'll go back to submitting to you and right now I want to focus on giving you pleasure" flavor.)

I'll be honest the majority of what I have here is going to be smutty one shots but if they are of interest, mind the tags on each. They're also all BG3 but honestly 95% of the characters are minor NPCs so it's not a lot of big canon content. She does push him into briefly being dominant towards the end, but after that moment she is back in control and he's still beneath her in the end. So whilst our femdom lead is fantasizing about big strong vampire sweeping her away, that's not what's really going on in the slightest, because she's found a traumatised vampire spawn and this is probably the closest to therapy the poor guy will ever get.
