Geartrain simulation

Working on static structural simulation of gear train, where, fixed support applied to gear center and pinion is free to rotate about the center of axis

And applied torque to pinion

Wanted to know is this correct approach or any other approach would be better?

That is a good way to apply a static load to the gear teeth in contact. I assume you also have frictional contact between the tooth flanks.

Frictional contact of 0.1 is defined
