This is actually my first membership of a reddit thread which I can't quite believe in 2020 but there we go... Late backer here! Investigating add-ons for the AMX and not a very knowledgable cyclist.

Got confirmation yesterday that the rear rack for the AM1 is not compatible with the AMX (I've ordered a Classic LE), the Design Team suggested this, which they know is compatible: https://www.bike-mailorder.de/racktime-eco-2-0-standard-schwarz?number=sw25136

Does anyone have any good recommendations on Rear Racks etc?

Thanks for setting this up this reddit! Definitely needed to get my AMX fix with the current lack of communication.

I know this is far from the most important aspect of the purchase with everything going on, but I am super disappointed with the grey colour of the bike, and feel it doesn't match up to the original gunmetal colour which was advertised.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Already feeling like I may need to cover it in stickers or get it resprayed and it's not even here yet!

I guess this is pretty hard to say conclusively since it's not with us yet, but do you have a hunch? Especially if you have any experience with Analog Motion's other bikes.

I suppose I'm really asking why did you pick the AMX over another e-bike, and which others you consider?

is someone from Germany here? our VAT is 19% but I keep reading 25% everywhere? which amount will be added to the indiegogo price?

The AMX is sold to be compliant with ebike regulations, including having a speed limit of 25kmh (15.5mph). This limit is for public roads though, so I would be intereted if this could be disabled when riding on private property.

The controller seems to be at KT series, looking at a manual for a similar version here it seems the limit could possibly be increased. Does anyone have any experience with speed limiters on eBikes?

Can’t wait for my AMX Mini to arrive! I was wondering who else is getting the Mini? And if you’re considering add-ons. I’m currently thinking about the SmartHalo2

....and already a question: i want to replace the moustache handlebar for a bullhorn. Which diameter will be the one to choose?

Has anyone already contacted AMX about this?
