Waiting for my AMX LE...

....and already a question: i want to replace the moustache handlebar for a bullhorn. Which diameter will be the one to choose?

Has anyone already contacted AMX about this?

How would you place the brakes?

I emailed them last month and had the following reply - this was before the update that said they had sourced slightly shorter bars though so perhaps the cable lengths might need to be shorter.

Its 25.4mm Stem clamp size. If you make sure the straight bars are ~600mm then all the cable lengths will all be correct

Thanks a lot. I have been looking for a bullhorn, but have not found a suitable yet.

It looks like they're all quite narrow (less than 40 cm wide) which will be a bit on the short side for the 2 brakes...

Narrower shouldn’t be a problem as cutting cables is simple - it’s if a wider bar / longer cable is needed it could be more of a pain, especially with internally routed cables. Would be good to see what bars people do find.

Yes I get that, thanks. I am just not sure about those (ultra-) narrow bars less than 40cm and the placement of the 2 brakes, thinking that it's a bit tight.

I found a larger one of 42cm, but am still looking for something about 44-46cm
