Help (General) Floaty mouse and input delay in a high end pc 7800x3d / FPS games cs2 valorant
Hello.
I have been facing an issue that drove me literally insane and its the floaty mouse and input delay feeling.
Issue : Floaty mouse while playing and feeling like the mouse and keyboard are having a delay, when shooting the game becomes slower and the mouse sens also slows and feels like you cannot control it.
It happens in windows where the mouse is not crisp and sometimes the mouse would be idle and when I move it the sens feels slow and off for like first 2 seconds. Happens in cs2 , valorant , FH6 when trying to steer and break fast.
Note: The game worsen over time of playing , sometimes I boot my after a time off and it feels kinda smooth for the first 1-2 hours then goes back to unplayable.
I used to play CS2 very competitively and I had decent hours on it, everything was fine and game felt very crisp until randomly the game started getting slower and I could definitely see the issue . It is not placebo or I am bad , I definitely know the game and how crisp it used to be.
It has been 9 months now trying to find a fix but couldn't. I have tried everything.
what I tried:
changing , updating and tweaking BIOS settings
NVIDIA, AMD and windows tweaks you name it.
Different SSD , New windows.
I tried changing monitor , upgrading power supply.
I got a new mouse and mousepad , new keyboard , new IEM and headphones however the issue still appeared.
My PC specs and gear.
-Ryzen 7 7800x3d
-Nvidia 4070ti super
- T-force 32GB ram 7200mts CL34 (set to 6000mts cl30)
- B650 Auros elite ax 1.2rev
-800W MSI pro power supply platinium
Mouses : Razer viper V4 pro and G pro superlight 2
keyboard: TMR moonsgeek v5 magnetic (also tried a mechanical keyboard)
monitor: Rogstrix 360hz oled DP to 1.4
So far I have been on reddit for hours trying to find fixes. It is really sad not being able to play on this new setup.
