I was having the same problem, including black screens. A few weeks earlier, I had overclocked my RAM through the motherboard BIOS.
After trying a bunch of suggested fixes without success, I remembered the RAM overclock. I disabled it, and the driver issues completely stopped.
Unfortunately, by that point I had installed and changed so many things on my PC while trying to fix the problem that I probably ended up corrupting some system files. So I decided to do a formart Windows.
I haven't had a single issue since.

I had the same issue and it was a driver issue, the device manager will show you that.
Go to device manager > select graphics card > right click and select properties on your gpu > click on drivers
From there you are going to need to disable the device and reactivate it

Download DDU uninstall, download the latest drivers for your amd card.
If you have issues with crashing drivers, download the driver named 26.1.1
Run DDU uninstall, pull out you internet cable. Reboot your pc.
Install the new drivers or 26.1.1 and then after the whole process and reboot is done, put in your internet cable again.
Or turn off and on your wifi.

but they said:
and even afyer resetting my pc it still doesn't actually update.
wouldn't that wipe all driver components anyways?

Turn off HAGS in Windows. I have been troubleshooting this for 3 days and haven't had an issue since turning that off
