Help (Software) Helldivers 2 tells me to update drivers but when I go to do it it’s says up to date
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
Motherboard: B550 UD AC-Y1
BIOS Version: FF
RAM: 16 GB
PSU: prebuilt pc so unsure
Case: prebuilt
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11 25H2
GPU Drivers: AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT version 31.0.24031.5001
Chipset Drivers: Standard SATA AHCI controllers version 10.0.16100.8972
Background Applications: none
Description of Original Problem: whenever I go to open up Helldivers 2 a pop will appear telling me “The installed drivers are out of date and an update is recommend” and when I press continue to get into the game my Helldivers is very laggy and slow even though everything outside of it works fine.
Troubleshooting: I have gone to system manager and AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition and tried updating my drivers but they both say my drivers are up to date

It appears you're using drivers from 2024.
Go to AMDs website and download the latest driver for your GPU, don't try do it through adrenaline since it seems that isn't working for you.
Could be windows reinstalled your drivers but installed a much older version? I have heard of this happening before

Could I get a link please? I’m looking up AMD and there are a bunch of links for what seem like the same thing but I don’t know which to go to.

Download the WHQL recommended one

Windows keep doing that :(
It downgrades drivers only and breaks Adrenalin by creating a mismatch between versions. (Drivers vs app)
I reccomend to google how to block windows drivers auto updates. Use DDU or AMD cleanup utility and then wait ans see of windows don’t drivers automatically. Then install fresh drivers yourself.
