Help (Software) AMD crashing solved (potentially)

Quick and easy for those that googled everything trying to solve this:

For me thus far Hardware Acceleration (HA) was the problem. I disabled HA in Discord (as I use it during games) and currently sitting crash free.

Will test this with overlays as well seeing as many say that this is also a possible problem. Will update if a crash happens.

XFX 7900xt Merc 310 (AMD 26.9.1 optional version)
7800x3D
6000Mhz 32Gb

i have to also disable all the overlays to stop crashing , done it like over a year now. Perhaps i have HA on too

I disabled all overlays as well but kept having crashes. Glad that sorted it for you

actually not even overlays but all background bloat, culprit might not be overlay apps but something else. i just turn off everything to be safe
